Trying to find the IP address of a website

Hi there,

I have been given a webscraping task, but the site they have given is a blocked one by my ISP, so I can't even start the task. How can I find the IP address of this site, and not just the IP address of the Block notification site please.

I am aware that the easiest way is to use a VPN, but I can't get it working on Linux mint, is there a way of just getting the IP address so that I can do the programming challenge please?

On further thinking, this challenge was a technical test for a job as a Python Developer, and in my mind I think it highly unethical to be trying to hack a commercial site as part of a job interview, the other point is that it massively favours applicants whose ISP does not block them.

Apologies for the rant, and no I don't need an answer to this potentially unethical challenge.
