I am trying to find documentation on how to install Nagios on a device that will monitor the servers that have Nagios installed. Any Linux documentation would be nice, but I would prefer the documentation for Ubuntu.

Please realize that the best answer most people here could offer is the same as what you would find with a common web search. I happen to use Google myself and inputting the string: "nagios install ubuntu" gives quite a few results. Having no greater recommendations for my part, this is where I best feel you'll get additional information.

Everyone here is a volunteer, so please realize that it may be better to search and find some guides, refer to those and ask if people have opinions to share about them, or if you've reviewed the steps in one or more guides and have specific questions before you start with things.
