If you're on Jessie, good luck. You're stuck either trying to get fglrx to work (which has been discontinued for something like 5 years at this point), or hoping and praying that the open source radeon drivers will work with that.
End result, Jessie is utterly EOL in 5 months, the kernel is ancient, and when that OS was around ATI/AMD graphics + linux were absolute junk.
IE - upgrade to buster (or at LEAST stretch) and use amdgpu.
