truecrypt

after unpackaging it, i get a package that I run in terminal, I go through the TOA and then it asks for the sudoers password, I put that in and it says it is wrong.

Its the right password though.

Any ideas?

Woah woah woah..... "after unpacking it, i get a package that i run in terminal" Are you trying to compile from source, or are you running the binary? Also, did you install truecrypt from your distribution's repositories?

And what the hell is TOA?

When asking for the sudoers password, you would enter your user password, not for root.

What distribution are you running? How did you install TrueCrypt?
