Troubleshooting with installing a new printer via my web browser on Red Hat linux ser
 

I have a problem, whereby i want install a printer via a webbowser,but the problen is it doesn't want to connect to the local host:port.

Error:The following error was encountered:

* Access Denied.

Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.

localhost:631
 

If I am reading this correctly, you are not sitting at your console to run the browser and enter localhost:631.

For security reasons, localhost:631 is limited to localhost. Red Hat has a vast library of knowledge base for changing the printer configuration to accept other than localhost.
