Trouble setting up Linksys WPC11 on Fedora 9

I'm trying to set up the Linksys Wireless-B WPC11 PCMCIA card on my Dell Latitude L400 running Fedora 9. From what I've researched, it appears the best way to do that would be through ndiswrapper. However, when I plug in the card while the system is running, a message pops up in GNOME telling me I had a kernel failure. Afterwards nothing seems to run anymore and I have to reboot to do anything. Attempting to start Linux with the card already installed results in Fedora hanging while starting sshd.

Have you installed the ndiswrapper and the windows driver? If so you may have a driver conflict. If not the card may not be compatible with the hardware or linux.

I've yet to install ndiswrapper. I'll try it again with it installed. I know it is compatible with ndiswrapper since I've seen others report success with it.
