Trouble on compiling JRTPLIB

hello , this is my first question on LQ.

and my problem is I cann't compile JRTPLIB3.x with arm-linux compiler.

e.g. if i use the following command :
#./configure --arm-linux, the compiler show the error message like that "...cannot create executive file..."

I have ever tried this :
#./configure --host=arm-linux cross_compiling=yes CFLAGS=-c
then compiler told me "cann't compile STL programme..."

I do not know how to solve it...

thanks ~~

"cannot create executive file" error means the compiler command (the command the configure scrpt uses to run the compiler) doesn't work. In your case there are two possible reasons:
1. arm-elf-gcc is not in PATH. Where do you have it installed?
2. You have it configured to use a number of different options and they doesn't work.

Have you tried to compile any other program with this compiler? How about simple "hello world"?
