Trouble installing RH 8.

Ok, I am a newbie to linux yes.

now that I got that out of the way, here is my question.

I have downloaded RH 8. Burnt the ISO's on to 3 cd's.
Created a floppy boot. Which seems to be correct.

My computer boots up, Reads Floppy fine. Goes to RH install screen. I choose gui install. Starts to read floppy.

Then I get "system halted"

ccr error

What is this. It seems not to be reading my cdrom drive, after it starts, looks like it is just reading the floppy?

Any suggestions?????????

Welcome to LQ.

Are you sure that the ISO files you burned were exactly the same as those on the server? Usually there is a file called md5sums that is also present alongside the files on the ftp server. You should download this and check the ISO files against it. If you're downloading in Windows then you can download a Win32 based md5sums packages... but I can't remeber where, but I do remember that it was fairly evident from a simply google, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
