Trouble installing OpenVPN on xubuntu 14.04

I'm pretty new to Linux and I wanted to start off by getting familiar with it. I wanted to set my vpn up, but I'm having a lot of trouble. I'm not that familiar with installing things from the terminal. Would anyone be able to help me through getting OpenVPN installed and running?

I just looked in the software center and OpenVPN is available there with one additional add on available. Have you tried installing it from the software center?
