yeah i finally fixed the darn thing, apparently the RAM was damadged by my hand my hand was prob staticly charged (forgot to discharge myself) and i mita broke the ram stick (i touched it while switching hds, go figure) but i did so i ran to the store and grabed a ram stick (a bigger mem) and it worked no problem don't even ASK how i figured it out [but for the curious ones i spent about 3 hours total examining and raking my brain goin thru each step it takes when u hit the pwer button and i pinpointed it just in time cause my sister had a paper to fix up and it was only on that HD, phew) so im jus goin to dig up my old P3 from the attic, stick the linux drive in there and get onea those kvm or k sumthing switches so i don't have to get a whole seta new monitors and mice for linux (it will never work on my amd 64

) and be DONE WITH installing it and get to the fun part of USING it! this thred can be closed.
