Question Transmission ( torrent client )

Ububuntu 9.0.4 came with transmission. I am very new to torrent and transmission. I am wondering what files I am sharing and who is accessing my share files.
There is a check box, "Automatically add torrents from". If I uncheck this, is there no files I am sharing? I believe the files I am downloading will be placed in destination fold. All files in this directory will be shared?
What if I move files to another directory from destination folder after download files?

I guess you should search for that in google, because this is not a Linux-specific question. If you want help with torrent clients, maybe you better try their forum or irc channel.
