Transferring Favourites, Address Book, Music and Pictures fromWinXP


I have successfully loaded Ubuntu to my computer so that I now Dual boot with Win XP. My question is, How can I transfer Favourites,Address Book,Music and Pictures from Win XP to Ubuntu. I am completely new to Linux and considered myself lucky to open Evolution Mail, such is my lack of knowledge...........Normael

in ubuntu you will find your winxp partition in places

boot to XP
open IE choose File and Export
exort wizard will start, save your faves etc as HTML
copy the HTML file to your favorite thumb drive.

Boot to Linux
mount your thumb drive
Open Fire Fox
click bookmarks then organise bookmarks
from there import your IE stuff...
