transferred php
ey guys..here's the case.. I just transferred a web app that I made using PHP on windows to a fedora machine. Now, everything was working fine on windwos, but how come it can't on linux. is there something I have to do before doing this ? how come other scripits that I have worked, except for this???
I have a page that displays a table from a mysql database, and it has an option to add entries, when I click on that the page was directed to where it was supposedly ( and you can see it in the address bar on top), but all you'd see is a blank screen.. So how do I go about this ? ? ?does this mean I have to write the whole thing again? |
Check the Apache error log (default is /var/log/httpd/error_log) on your machine. Chances are good that some information about the error is to be found there. Assuming other scripts that call MySQL are working, it's probably a minor problem somewhere.

will it still be displayed there even if I didn't get any error messages? I just got a blank white screen.
I'll check that out. |
Check to make sure the permissions of the php scrpt file are set to 644
