transfering pictures from Samsung Note II (Android) to my Ubuntu Laptop
 

Hello,
I tried to help a friend get some photos out of his Samsung Note II, but I couldn't do it. I don't have a smart phone. My Ubuntu system and his Android system don' seem to be able to communicate, not yet anyway. What can I do?

Did you try E-mailing them?

Install the Android SDK tools on your Ubuntu. Once you've done that you can use the 'adb' command to 'push' or 'pull' files to or from the computer and device. There is good documentation on all of this, the following links should help.
