Lightbulb Traffic Shaping


Hi

I have a little Problem i want to limit the Bandwidth of ppp0
for a program XYZ to a certain bps.

Sine now i only found how to limit complete devices or ips

Sounds to me link you want to read http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Adv-Routing-HOWTO/index.html and http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Bandwidth-...WTO/index.html. The Advanced Routing HOWTO gets scary in places mind you.

I had posted a method to get perfect load balancing on another forum a while back. You might find it useful
