How can trafic be managed in linux???

I have heard from my pal that something like 'tc' command is used??....What is that....where can I get the documentation?

In order to use tc for manipulating traffic you must install it first. What distro of linux are you running? In my slackware gnu/linux it is co-installed with the system.

After installing this you only type 'man tc' info on usage shall be available on terminal.
