when i am using traceroute command, it is giving the erro as follow:

traceroute Temporary failure in name resolution
Cannot handle "host" cmdline arg `' on position 1 (argc 1) is my domain

You might have a DNS problem. Try the IP address ( instead of the name and see what happens. If it works then you need to look at your DNS setup.

yup..I changed my dns settings in /etc/resolv.conf as follows:


and now it is wrking
