Totem not Playing Videos in FC-5
i have recently installed FC-5 and it comes with Totem Movie player. Its not playing movies. there r other movie players as well but i want to get totem working.
any help?? i will be thankful |
Don't know about FC but in Debian (which also came with Totem) I had to install the appropriate codecs separately before it would play commercial films. There should be something in FC help about it (Debian info wouldn't help you here).
There are others as you say, but when you get it working Totem is the best IMO. |
Mikie where did u get the codecs from and what where thier names. i mean codec names

But as I said I don't think this helps you. I have just read that totem is broken in FC5. Bugger! Can anyone confirm this? If you want to use Xine do: yum install xine xine-lib libdvdcss This should install xine along with the necessary codecs. |

Don't shoot me, I didn't write it. I'm just glad for FC5 users that it isn't true! About your link shrikant, am I being stupid here? The reference to DVD players on that page says: Quote:
