I am not able to play the mp3 audio files in Totem Movie player. I have the solaris 10 OS.Help me.

Ive never used Solaris.So I dont know anything about its package management system.Googled a bit and found this..I guess solaris calls there repos software stacks..??The vlc package is there....

Im assuming this would be equal to debian multimedia repo for debian.

To play MP3 and/or DVD files with Totem, you need to install some plugins (i.e, gst-plugins-bad, gst-plugins-ugly and gst-ffmpeg). Totem is just a front-end for GStreamer. Such info is available here. You can also install VLC as suggested above or any player.
