totaly removing Grub
 

I took partition magic and removed all partitions off of a hard drive . Then divided it up into 3 partitions and loaded NT 4.0
on the C: drive . When it finishes and I boot I just get the word GRUB and it does nothing else. I had RH 9.0 on the drive before and want to have both NT 4.0 and Linux on the same drive. I was going to load NT 4.0 first but need to know what I am doing wrong. When PM 8.0 get finished it says no partitions exist.

Sounds like an issue with Partition Magic. If you partitioned it into 3 drives and then partition magic says no partition exist then something must have gone wrong during partitioning.

You should install NT first then when you install linux on a different partition it will create the boot loader.

fdisk /mbr

That's what I don't get

That's what surprised me I had Linux on the drive. Used PM 8.0 to remove the Linux partition and put 3 partitions on the drive.
Loaded NT 4.0 onto the drive and when NT said to reboot after the installation I got the GRUB . I 'm going to use norton to wipe the disk and start over.

I've seen this fdisk command many times, but I get
