Totally lost - RH 7.1, apache, php4, postgreSQL setup

I have a P120 box with 48MB ram with RH 7.1 installed (using server install option).

What I want is to use it as a development server for a postgreSQL database application served over an intranet.

Apache 1.3.19 is installed, as is postgreSQL, I think. I can't get the default index page in a browser (the IP of the apache box is

I've checked out the ddocumentation at, as well as searched for how-to's, but none of that has helped.

I am willing to start over from scratch, but I need what could be described as "An idiot's guide."

Any ideas on where to find such documentation for setting up apache 1.3.19, PostgreSQL 7.1x, and PHP4?

PHP support is active if you've installed the package from your RH cd.
The Apache .conf file is pretty well documented in itself.. So you should be able to set it up by doing minor changes to the file..

PostgreSQL... dunno. I've only used MySQL

But you can get a browser based GUI for all of it :

If you install the Webmin RPM you can access it without doing any additional setup.. Just type http://localhost:10000 in your browser..
Have a look at that.. really nice.
