Thumbs down Total running hours of Hard disk

Please help me to read
1.Total running hours below normal threshold temperature.
2.Total running hours above normal threshold temperature.
3.Total running hours within normal operating temperature.

Install smartmontools, and smartctl can show it. For example:
smartctl -a /dev/sda
Look for "Power_On_Hours".

Also if you have installed the gnome-disk-utility(palimpsest) it can give a very detailed list of information about the disk.
