Thanks for the reply, yeah maybe, it has nothing to do with what the other guy was talking about. What can I do? I'm just a newbie.
Now I can install the programs, they are the MPlayer and the Xanim. I read a document about compiling from some where here, and all is very clear now.
But the PackageManager is a useless tool.
Example, I have tryied to install thru it (in the KDE, as root), the package : gtksee-0.5.2.tar.gz . And comes back a message :

cannot install ../gtksee-0.5.2.tar.gz : package does not end in .tgz "
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arent ".tar.gz" and ".tgz" the same ?. I changed the the type of the file into .tgz and the same came back. I manage to install it, manually and works well. Was this manager meant to work? The same thing happened when installing the Xanim.
