tor installation
 
hi i use gutsy and have downloded tot software.when i tried to install it,it flagged a message that it may contain malicious programs.is it safe to install such softwares???

I would probably not install the software after such a warning. It may be that someone has tampered with the package. Where did you download the package from?

Just being curious, what *exactly* was the message? Which *application* showed you that message? If the package is covered by a MD5 or SHA1 sum or GPG signature, did you try to verify its integrity manually? That said, TOR is not a malicious application.

I had to reinstall my linux AS software and I already have the registration installation number, but the up2date program says that my software is not registered and keeps asking me to run up2date to upgrade the pkg. so when i run the up2date installer i get this message:

Problem registering system:

Error Message:
Insufficient Software Channel Entitlements:

cfid5488 Red Hat Enterprise Linux (core server)

note: One of the above Software Channel Entitlement(s) are required
to provides access to: cid1181 Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (v. 3 for x86)
Error Class Code: 70
Error Class Info:
All available subscriptions for the requested channel have been exhausted.
Please contact a Red Hat Network Sales associate.
Explanation:

How can I get my up2date pkg updated?
