Tools to generate SIP Traffic

Hello all,

Does any one use any tools to generate SIP traffic? I am in dire need of one; in fact I need something that can generate both SIP and RTP; but for now I can live with tool that generates SIP traffic only.

All your help is greatly appreciated .

Thanks
K2

Did you try searching google for sip traffic generator ?

The first hit is : http://sipp.sourceforge.net/

SIPp is a free Open Source test tool / traffic generator for the SIP protocol.
SIPp can also send media (RTP) traffic through RTP echo and RTP / pcap replay. Media can be audio or audio+video.
SIPp can be used to test many real SIP equipements like SIP proxies, B2BUAs, SIP media servers, SIP/x gateways, SIP PBX, ... It is also very useful to emulate thousands of user agents calling your SIP system.

I don't understand why people don't do a simple search before asking in a forum.

Hello farslayer;

Thanks a bunch for replying to my question. And yes I did do a simple search on google before posting the question and it gave me two results:

http://www.nsauditor.com/docs/html/t...generator.html
http://sipp.sourceforge.net/

My bad; I should have been more clear on my question as to what is the user's opinion on the above two tools. Thanks again for all your help and sorry for the trouble.
