Too many lost and founds
 
Hey there!!!
I just reinstalled linux and i noticed that i've got too many lost and founds!!!
Is anything that i can do for it?
Also, i would like to i ask that i when i try the following command
Quote:

locate file
I get a message saying that database hasnt been updated for 8 days and more
Any ideas what i can do for that as well?

"updatedb" will (as the name suggests) update the locate database. Run as root to avoid permissions issues.

Move the files to another place. I say move, not delete because they are parts of file that you lost. In general it's the files that were opened and didn't get written properly to the disk. It's worth knowing what you lost. If it's critical files then, well, forget about your linux, backup, reinstall.
When the lost+found is empty again, watch out for new files.
You are doing something wrong with your filesystems (bad mount options, bad sequence of scripts on shutdown,..)
