sorry to bring this up a year later. I can see how the script will tell PIA to do port forwarding on the VPN server end. It returns the port number back to you. However, this is forwarded to the router....not to your NAS/transmission client. I believe you would need to dynamically (iptables) forward that port in your router to your transmission client, or am I misunderstanding? Are you sure this is working correctly for you? Transmission says the port is open?

....or do you use UPnP port forwarding from transmission and enable it in the router?
