tmp ??


i saw that every use had ~/tmp folder in home dir.what is the need for that?
shell i delete tmp folder ?will it be problem?

in my case i have the following file.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I DELETE?

It looks likeon your system each user must have his or her own tmp (or at least you do), and your environment is set up (via the TMPDIR environment variable, probably) to use it. The bonobo stuff is for Gnome stuff-- not sure of the rest. I wouldn't delete it, though. Is it particularly bothering you?

You can delete anything out of the tmp directory - just be prepared for the fact that doing so might cause running programs to crash.
