tips for checking up on users

Finally I have managed to get a working Linux solution together, I have been plagued by troublesome hardware, or hardware that is troublesome with Suse !

A colleague has already asked for a shell account to my box, so how can I:

1) Know when users log in

2) See who is logged in and what they are running

3) allow a user to log in and run X-Windows ? (vncserver ??)

Any tips you can offer will certainly cut down on the amount of MAN pages I am having to read !

Thanks
Judda

Install vncserver and client can login using vnc client

You still need to read man page to get help or use google.com/linux or this forum to get more help
