time setting problem


i have dual boot
win98 and redhat 9

when ever i changes time setting in my linux box, it automatically changes time setting in win98 also

any idea ??

Try and google?
BTW you are changing your hardware clock, which remains same irrespective of windows or linux.

hi

whenever u change the time from linux then it chnages the time of ur System clock,the one in ur bios,whch is used by all OSes
and this will happen if u change time from windows also

Make sure that linux is set for the correct time zone and uncheck the use GMT box. BTW how many hours difference?
