Tight VNC Problem connecting to ubuntu server 12.04

Hi i can connect to my linux server on tight VNC and see the desktop but it dont let me take full control of it i check the settings on linux and full control is checked im not sure if whats wrong i open port 5800 on my router im a noob thanks

Could you explain "full control" little more? I think you should have created a port on VNC server, then connecting to it, so can't you work with it's desktop utilities or windows or terminals?

meaning full control of the mouse i can i see the desktop and move the mouse pointer but when u click it down it dont interact .

Make sure, that you have not option "-viewonly" on server or client. For example by
ps -Af  | grep vnc
