Thank you.

And did you try to Google for any answers, if it's so important??

TigerVNC also has docs that explain how to set it up too....

Yes, I saw this howto. It's only working if monitor is connected.

kuzja_21 01-10-2010 09:27 AM

So, can anyone help me?

You can't connect a monitor?
You could ssh to the box, and install via ssh

TigerVNC installed on computer without a monitor. If I try to establish a VNC connection to this computer, the VNC connection window remains black. The End.
I found a solution to this problem using vnc4server but I want this to work with TigerVNC.

When you say the VNC connection is "black" is their no display or is their a terminal? Sounds like vnc needs configuration server side.

Problem is that don't know what must be configurated in the server side

Yes, VNC terminal window is operating, but it is black and I can move mouse cursor in it. That's all.

Did you start the windowmanager?

So with vnc4server you can see the desktop?
Do they use the same ports?

For Fedor 12 all works. By their negligence, I made the wrong settings of vncserver'a. I did all over again - all okay. You can close the topic

Try the command startx and see if this changes things or if it makes an error occur, I get the strange feeling you might be VNCing to the actual outputted display of the server.
