thunderbird: "No valid armored OpenPGP data block found"

Hi!

I´m using thunderbird 1.0.7-1.1.fc3 with openPGP Enigmail version 0.93.0.0 (20050929). when I try to import some senders´key I get sometimes the message
Quote:

No valid armored OpenPGP data block found
. It only happens for some senders. I looked around in internet and was surprised to see very little stuff about this problem.
does anyone has an idea how may thunderbird may accept those public keys?

thanks.

Are you trying to import the key from the email message itself or are you importing it from a PGP server ?
I usually grab the keys from the key server directly and have never run into that problem.

OpenPGP -> Key Management -> keyserver -> Search for Keys

Then enter the email address, or search criteria.

According to the postings I saw it appears the error is probably caused by a misformed pgp header.

I try to import the key for the mail itself. searching keys from the keyserver doesn'thelp either.
