This sucks... (Mandrake 9.0 download)

I have downloaded the ISOs of the 3 Mandrake 9.0 discs and the first iso always seems to be corrupted.

I try to install and it says that 'usr/bin/runinstall2' is invalid so i went to the file and it read as 0 bytes... so its not there. This goes for hundreds of other small files throughout the first ISO. The other ISOs are fine.

I have downloaded it 3 times now (which is hell on a dial-up). First time I used WS_FTP. Then with CuteFTP. Then with GetRight. ALL in BINARY mode using the same mirrors throughout each download.

I checked the md5sum and each one I download gets the same sum but not what it's supposed to be. Again, the other ISOs are fine.

THREE retrys on THREE different mirrors. What is up? They all show the same errors and I cannot continue with the installation until I have all of these files that read up 0KB. Please help so I can be introduced to this awesome OS.

PLEASE HELP! :(

That's probably your problem. :)

Use linuxiso.org or distrowatch.com

On the internet there are -MANY- things which can cause this.

You really should consider just getting some Mandrake CD's from Cheapbytes or somewhere, I think it will cost you 6 or 7 dollars plus shipping, but if you're on dial-up and trying to download a distro, that's pure punishment. Your TIME is worth more than that. Really.
