Thin clients
 
hai all
i want to know how many thin clients can be connected to a linux thick server.and also the maximum thin clients that a thick server support.

Well, if you hook them in a private network, you can have as many clients hooked up as there are IP addresses, so 4294967295. But you probably wanted to know, how many can you hook to one server and have the clients work usably fast. My reply is that it depends just how thick (fast) the server is and what you're running on it. Experimentation will show you.

Could consult the Server sizing guide for something like LTSP to see what their recommendations are for Clients vs. Server resources/size.
