When it happened with Windows computers, including DCs, (which it did semi-regularly using WNT4) we used to delete the computer from the domain (on one of the DCs), change the affected computer itself from being a member of a domain and then re-join the domain. It was a while ago and I may be using inaccurate terminology but the outline is correct. You could try the equivalent.
