the texts are blurred


I just installed college linux, however the texts is blurred everywhere and especially in terminals
I use a IBM T42 laptop
And I am no idea to know what is going on whatsoever
Please help~~~~

Possibly?!

I have been messing with Grub lately.. when I throw in an image for my splash screen, it messes up the whole bootup text. It's completly distorted. This is just an idea, but check your grub config file or the lilo config file for any images trying to be loaded for a splash screen and comment it out.

my config file for grub is /boot/grub/menu.lst

Not even sure if this is where the issue is comming from for you, but it's the only thing I got!!
