Hello, I'm new to this site and also need some help. i had previously installed 2 Ubuntu OS's on my, now a broken asus netbook and loved the functionality of the OS's. Since then I have now upgraded to a larger PC and want to operate it on a new OS. I don't trust or like anything from Microsoft anymore. After doing some research on the topic I found that people who try to run Linux/Ubuntu discover multiple problems after or during the installation process; So my question is before I go ahead and blissfully install an OS, would anyone happen to know of an OS that would run smoothly on my PC?

I can't see anything in the specs of that machine that should give you problems with installing a recent Ubuntu version.
Would be nice if you give us more information on where the problems lie that other users report with that machine (maybe a link?).
