the DD command


hi, one of my hard drives is having errors but it still passes the SMART test so i think it is some tables missing or corrupt or whatever

how do i repair it with the DD command. Everything is already backed up so i dont mind if it gets formated. thanks.

More information is required. Can you post the errors? Are the errors on a particular partition?

The fsck utility is used to repair filesystems not dd.
