the background image are not displayed in a php file

Hi, I'm programming an web system using LAMP, currently I'm using Ubuntu 10.04, so, when I load the index page the background image is not displayed, it looks like a permission file issue - I guess-, so currently all images have this permissions:
and the permissions for the php files are:

my question is:
what permissions should I set to display the background image?

Permission for all files should be 644 (-rw-r--r--). Better you check the image path given in the php file.
