thai entry not correctly converted in language list in ltsp login screen
Folks, after a career in "Windows land" I crossed the bridge to Ubuntu Linux and up to now no regrets. I tried the desktop version of 9.04/9.10 and took a leap to the LTSP whre I encountered the following problem.
question: I installed LTSP 10.04.1 using the alternate CD and everything went well after adjusting the tftpd-hpa issue and installing the THAI language. Everything works fine, but the Thai name in the language list in the client login screen is still coded in some way, non-thai font. The following command : telnet 127.0.0.1 9571 generates the correct listing including the LANGUAGE :th-TH.UTF-8 name. I also checked out the ldminfod file, but could not find anything strange (compared to info found in the forum).. I reckon it to be a minor problem. Everything else works fine if I select the NON-THAI value, but i cannot get it right. Can someone help me with this (possible) minor problem. summy2011 |
