Terminal mode and partition disk questions. Please Help.
I need help with these questions:
1) If you delete a file while in terminal mode, how do you recover it? 1) How many disk partitions can you have in Linux? Thanks, |
Hmmm...
Are you possibly asking for help with a school task? Noone will want to help you with that, you're supposed to struggle a little! :-) But maybe not, I'll give a few hints: 1) This is an impossible question - it's not a Linux matter it depends on the file system. I suggest you search for something like "undelete ext3 reiserfs" etc. 2) It depends. Here's one good link: http://unix.stackexchange.com/questi...orted-in-linux |

This seems not possible, but again you can try the stuff suggested by pingu and see if that helps. 2) How many disk partitions can you have in Linux? During one of my initial RHEL classes, once my tutor told us this :- SATA HDD : 15 max partitions PATA HDD : 31 partitions max |
