Question terminal in fluxbox

ok, here is a stupid question: how do i open a terminal in fluxbox? i am fairly new to Linux and can't find one anywhere. I am running Mandrake 9.2. I installed fluxbox today and so far really like the so-called minimalist look. anyway, i hope my question isn't too redundant (i looked everywhere to no avail). thanks in advance.

Right click anywhere on the desktop. A menu will come up with choices for the application to use. If you don't see the one you want anywhere in there, you'll have to edit ~/.fluxbox/menu to add an entry for the program manually

no you don't have to be root ... just open ~/.fluxbox/menu in your favourite editor...
then have a look at how things are written
generically:
[exec] (name you see in menu) {command}

so for xterm
[exec] (xterm) {xterm}

but you can add plenty of other command options between the curly braces

thanks for all the help. i've chopped and reassembled and retooled the menu into my own creation. i'm really starting to dig fluxbox. my next task is to set the background images that came with some of the nifty styles i downloaded. oh yeah, and to figure out what this slit thing is all about. thanks again for the help.
back to the lab,
ds
