terminal commands for fedora 12 i.e installing games like tremolous and Nvdia driver

This is first question. I am using fedora 12. Almost everything works fine. I would like to learn more about working in the terminal. The GUI (something called gedit)for installing new software such as the game Tremolous and Nvidia-Linux-x86-173.14.25 gives me an error message.

The only success I have had in installing new software and updating has been in the terminal system.

So, what is the terminal command 'yum command' to install the game and driver mentioned above?

Like I said this is my first question. I appreciate any input that you provide, but try to remember that I am not a programmer and I find it hard to understand some the threads I have already read.
