Terminal command reference

Where can I get the command reference for the terminal?
I played with the command prompt in windows and it was intresting, but from what I heard the terminal gives you more control.
Also, does anyone know a site from which I can download drivers for mandrake 8.2?

Here is something I found, I've never used it myself so I don't know how good or bad it is. http://www.linuxcommand.org/learning_the_shell.php

And here are a few of the most useful commands, and their dos equivalents.

DOS | LINUX
chdir--cd
dir-----ls
edit----emacs

I'd recommend the URL provided by uman. It assumes next to no prior knowledge. Have a look at it, and also scare yourself by doing `man bash` in a terminal to see the _real_ reference manual...

uman - that's a great link for someone new to linux. I'm keeping it handy just to give to some of my converted friends.
BlackMan - check out uman's link. Good stuff!

At last I found some time! At last a tutorial that I can understand!

Many thanks!
