terminal colors invert
I'm logged into my linux box using Exceed. and whenver I use pico or man or something that takes control of the window, my colors become screwed up. I have a black background and white text. But when I open up pico, My text becomes highlighted, white, and the font is black. This makes reading anything quite annoying because all the text is highlighted. When i do something like 'top' the screen is put back to normal. vi doesn't cause this problem to occur all the time, but other programs like emacs does. Any ideas?....[wait i had a thought]
OKAY I just tried to change my term from vt220 to vt100 and it fixed the problem....I'm unfamiliar with term settings, what implications will this have on other programs? |
