What do you mean with consistent? Doesn't that value change when your computer is under load?

i cleaned the peripherals bt the temp wont come down.. thats not the issue with w7 (dual boot).. it remains 50-55.. well dunno wat mi8 b the problem but this one.. |
Are those Fahrenheits or Celsiuses?
I'm assuming Celsius. Even so, that really doesn't seem high enough to be worried about. Mine is currently at 69 C, pretty much where it usually is when it's under a typical load, and it's been running fine for three years now. Some heat is normal. CPUs don't run at room temperature. And even though they are "laptops," they really aren't meant to sit on your lap, especially if they have cooling vents on the bottom. I would suggest getting yourself one of those lap pads to set it on. |
If the temps don't change even under load, may there be a chance that you are looking at the wrong sensor?
The value should increase under heavy load, but also it shouldn't be at 63°C when idling. |
ohk
