telnet timeout setup!

I could start a telnet server daemon of my RedHat9.
And i want to assign a new timeout if client do not input anything.
But i don't know how to do that.

Could someone give me a hand?

===
By the way , could the re-login times be setup ,too? and how?

Thank you very much!

I am sorry for this non-answer to your question, but why not run sshd instead? I have never had a problem getting it working nicely with the defaults that come with my distro, and it's vastly more secure.

Yeap , ssh is safer than telnet,
but...there's some questions.

Any idea for setting up login screen layout?
And the login timeout setup?
