Telnet'ing into RH9 box and can't execute some commands

Hi there,

I've set up a RH9 box and installed Telnet on it (the version that came with RH9). I can telnet into it just fine, only it doesn't let me run certain commands such as useradd, even as root.

Is there a config file somewhere that lists available telnet commands or something else I'm missing?

Thanks!

Try using secure shell instead, it should be up and running on RH9 already. Telnet is insecure. Everything (inc passwords) is sent in unencrypted text files.

Thank you. I found an SSH client for Windows (PuTTY) and it's working great. I appreciate the help.
