Telegram-cli as Daemon
Hello,
I followed successfully all steps mentioned in this link https://github.com/vysheng/tg/wiki/R...-CLI-as-Daemon but unfortunately at the end I am receiving following error: Code:
# /etc/init.d/telegram-daemon status Thanks in anticipation |
Looks like there is an error in the startup script. You should report it to the maintainers on Github.
Or post the /etc/init.d/telegram-daemon script here: http://paste.ubuntu.com/ and provide the link - so we can see what line 98 is trying to do. |

I pasted there http://paste.ubuntu.com/12689520/ as well as here as following: Code:
#!/bin/bash |
The output of:
Code:
cat /etc/issue |

Good luck on RHEL/Centos, they are not listed as supported. Sorry. The project documentation spends a lot of time on Debian - might want to try that. |

This API presently working fine on CentOS but just want to make its daemon |
Great. If you want to make it a daemon - then you will have to write your own init.d script to run it. Since you already know how to run it, and stop it, this should be as simple as grabbing an example and filling it in. The project does not offer one for Centos as I mentioned.

No, Ill not write a script for you. If you have questions while trying to do it yourself, please ask though.
Here are some references: http://www.sensi.org/~alec/unix/redhat/sysvinit.html https://blog.hazrulnizam.com/create-...ript-centos-6/ And if that doesn't help: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=create+init.d+script+27centos+627 |
